Finely Aged 80s Cheese

In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The A-Team.

The A-Team ran for 5 seasons on NBC, from
1983 to 1986. Created by Frank Lupo (Hunter) and Stephen J. Cannell (The Rockford Files), The A-Team starred George Peppard as Col. John "Hannibal" Smith, Dwight Shultz as Capt. H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock, Dirk Benedict as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck and Mr. T as Sgt. Bosco B.A. "Bad Attitude" Baracus. The show itself was a kind of a hybrid of The Magnificent Seven and The Dirty Dozen and it is remembered largely for it's over-the-top violence and the way each week "the Team" came up with some elaborate weapon or machine put together during a musical montage.

This was one of my favourite shows as a kid and I still watch now and again as a guilty pleasure. I really do love it when a plan
comes together.
