The Dark Knight is directed by Christopher Nolan (The Prestige, 2006) and stars Christian Bale (I'm Not There, 2007) and Maggie Gyllenhaal (Stranger Than Fiction, 2006). The Dark Knight is to be released on 18 July, 2008 by Warner Bros.
